In the last few years, Crisafulli has sold more than 96(a) Rotomites to 22 municipalities, 2 county agencies, 2 Regional Authorities, and 3 state agencies in the US and abroad and to 39 industrial companies and 24 construction companies and contractors in the US and abroad. Customers in 28 states from California to New York and from the Canadian border to Florida, and in 8 other countries, including Australia, Egypt, Honduras, Jamaica, Canada, Venezuela, Mexico, and South Korea, have purchased Crisafulli Rotomite Dredges and sludge removal systems. 86 customers have purchased Rotomites. Two customers each purchased 3, i customer purchased 4 Rotomites; seven customers each purchased two Rotomites. Contractors, Municipal and Industrial Facilities Managers remove settled solids faster and more easily than ever with Crisafulli's powerful and versatile Rotomite-6000. The powerful John Deere engine enables simultaneous operation of all dredge functions.  A operator cab (with optional air and heat) mounted forward on the dredge for greater visibility, is accessible from either side of the dredge for improved convenience, productivity and safety. Crisafulli engineers designed fingertip operator controls to reduce operator fatigue and improve operator alertness and productivity. Dual hydraulic motors deliver 11,000 inch-pounds (1243Nm) of digging torque to Crisafulli's Cobra CutterheadTM. The Cobra Cutterhead combines aggressive hardened teeth with an unique opposing auger design to drive dredged material towards the center of the cutterhead and directly in front of the pump intake for maximum capture of solids, highest efficiency and reduced turbidity. The operator can articulate (rotate 80 degrees) the cutterhead to attack compacted, settled wastes.
History. Crisafulli introduced the Rotomite-6000 in 2002 as the most recent of several models of self-propelled Rotomites engineered and manufactured by Crisafulli over more than twenty years. Earlier models include the Rotomite 142P and the Rotomite 180P. Crisafulli customers have purchased more than 96 Rotomites in recent years.
