Pumps. Mine superintendents, power plant operators, petrochemical managers, and chemical engineers have relied on rugged & dependable Crisafulli pumps for 40 years because they recognize the Crisafulli pump's versatility. They know from experience that a Crisafulli pump will handle most anything you send its way - that if the material flows or can be made to flow, there is a Crisafulli that can pump it. They also know that special requirements are no problem - if the material to be pumped is corrosive, caustic, acidic or abrasive, Crisafulli will design & build a pump to fit the need. Crisafulli's first electric floating pumps (circa 1966) were built for mixing & recirculating drilling mud in oilfield pits and they did a splendid job. More recently, petrochemical companies and mines have chosen hydraulically powered pumps, driven by Crisafulli diesel-hydraulic power units to transfer crude oil wastes, tailings, mine slimes & slurries.

Dredges. Our industrial customers call their waste containment areas by many different names, including sump, pond, lagoon, tank, pit, basin, channel - but the one thing they have in common is a waste that has settled to the bottom & must be removed. Crisafulli dredges are ideal for removing such settled wastes. At a steel mill, the Crisafulli Rotomite dredges mill scale deposits from channels, while a gold mining operation uses a Crisafulli FLUMP to dredge metal processing precipitate from holding ponds & transfer it to drying beds. Overseas - at a metals processing plant, a custom-built stainless steel Rotomite dredges solids in a solution of sulfuric acid, while at a chemical company, another customized Crisafulli unit dredges highly abrasive, low-level radioactive material. Crisafulli's first automated dredge was built to dredge a settling pond at a sand & gravel plant. Coal-fired power generation plants prefer the Rotomite to remove fly ash from lagoons & transfer it to drying beds.
